DORAL, Fla. — A 23-year-old man was arrested Friday after he punched and pistol-whipped another man outside of a school in Doral, police said.

According to an arrest report obtained Monday by Local 10 News, Kenneth Gerardo Villeda-Sueso was arrested on charges of aggravated battery with a firearm and exhibiting a firearm on school property.

The report states that the incident occurred during dismissal time Friday outside BridgePrep Academy.

Police said the victim works at the charter school and was meeting up with a woman he previously dated so they could change vehicles, as he was currently driving her car.

According to the report, the victim told officers that he and the woman, identified as Indiana Espinosa, dated for about three weeks. He said he has known Villeda-Sueso for about 10 years as they previously went to the same school.

Police said Villeda-Sueso was with the woman when they arrived at the school in a blue Infiniti.

According to the report, the victim claimed that Villeda-Sueso approached him in an “aggressive manner” while asking for the car key and an argument ensued between them.

He said Villeda-Sueso then suddenly punched him in the face, grabbed his hoodie and then struck him in the back of his head with a gun.

Villeda-Sueso then fled the scene, but returned after officers arrived, the report stated.

According to the report, Villeda-Sueso claimed that the victim was the one who approached him in an “aggressive manner” and was “jealous” because he was now dating Espinosa.

He claimed the victim pushed him and he pushed him back before punching the victim in the face, police said.

Further statements made to officers by Villeda-Sueso were redacted from the publicly released report.

According to the report, Espinosa was the only person who witnessed the incident, but she refused to speak to officers about what happened.

Police said the incident was not captured on surveillance video, however a Glock 19 was recovered from behind the driver’s seat after Villeda-Sueso returned to the scene.

According to the report, the victim was treated at the scene by paramedics, and most of his head, face and neck area were covered in dried blood from his injuries.

As of Monday morning, Villeda-Sueso was no longer appearing in the online jail database.
