MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 32-year-old woman was behind bars on Monday in Miami-Dade County after she confessed to stabbing a man, records show.
A man reported he was with his girlfriend when his ex-girlfriend confronted them, and Trinity Graham, stabbed him on Saturday, in Gladeview, records show.
Graham “pulled out a knife and began to swing the knife rapidly towards him,” the victim reported, according to Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputy’s arrest report.
The man accused Graham of stabbing him during the conflict, shortly before 12:20 a.m., at Northwest 67 Street and 18 Avenue, according to the arrest report.
Graham told deputies the man punched her and her friend, so she retrieved a knife and stabbed him in self defense, according to the arrest report.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel took the man to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. He had suffered a “a deep laceration to the back of the right elbow, which required multiple stitches, according to the report.
Deputies arrested Graham at 12 p.m. on Saturday at Northwest 68 Terrace and 18 Avenue. Inmate records show corrections booked Graham shortly after 3:50 p.m. on Saturday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Graham, who has a criminal history in Miami-Dade, faced charges of aggravated battery with great bodily harm and petit theft.
