Miami Heat fans can gear up for new season at home opener

MIAMI — A new season for the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center begins on Sunday night.

The Heat’s home opener against the New York Knicks will feature some fresh fan favorites, from jerseys to jump shots, fans can show their team spirit in style.

And no matter what is happening in the game on the court, fans can always score their favorite concession treats off the court.

To celebrate the season, the arena is also rolling out new value deals for fans.

Concession specials include family meal bundles like a $60 pizza deal (four pizzas, chips, and waters) and a $40 hot dog deal (four dogs, popcorn, and drinks). Grab-and-go stands on the 400 level also feature $3 sodas, $8 beers, and $3 snacks, plus $15 “Burnie Meals” for kids with food, a souvenir cup, and a silicone bracelet.

“This season at Kaseya center we wanted to make the game day experience enjoyable and affordable,” said Heat Culinary Marketing Manager Michelle Artimez Maza. “You can get family meal deals starting at just $40, so, hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, chips, beverages.”

At Chicken Ciao in section 108, fans can dig into the Fiery Chicken Sandwich or Loaded Hot Honey Tenders, two of the arena’s most popular bites.

From your typical game day snacks to diet-friendly options, the Heat is bringing it all.

“A plethora of vegan options, gluten free options,” said Artimez Maza. “If you have a dietary restriction, you can still eat at the arena.”

The excitement continues inside the Heat Team Store, where fans can pick up new jerseys featuring a special patch celebrating the 20th anniversary of the team’s 2006 NBA Championship.

Saturday Jersey Night is also returning this season fans who wear official Heat jerseys to Saturday home games will receive a special gift.

And even when fans leave their seats, they won’t miss a second of the action with the new 9’x16’ LED boards lighting up the concourse.
