MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Three people were seriously injured early Saturday morning in a five-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 5:08 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Miami Gardens Drive, FHP Lt. Alex Camacho said.
Camacho said two of the vehicles collided with the center median’s concrete barrier, blocking three travel lanes for a short time.
Three occupants were taken to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital with serious injuries, authorities confirmed. Additional information on the victims involved in the crash has not been released at this time.
All lanes have since reopened, according to FHP.
