MIAMI — Inter Miami CF reached another major milestone in the construction of its new home, Miami Freedom Park, as club owners Jorge Mas, Jose Mas, and David Beckham signed one of the final beams of the stadium canopy.
The signatures were placed beneath the club’s motto, “Freedom To Dream,” inscribed by managing owner Jorge Mas, a Miami native.

The gesture represents the inspiration driving the team and the development of Freedom Park, which aims to set a new standard for Major League Soccer stadiums.
The canopy, set to be the largest of its kind in MLS, will cover every seat and the concourse, protecting fans from the elements while maintaining an open-air atmosphere. Construction crews plan to raise the final beams over the next two weeks.
Lionel Messi, Inter Miami’s captain and the 2025 MLS leading goal scorer, recently secured a spot at his new home, adding to the excitement surrounding the stadium’s progress.
Miami Freedom Park is on track to become a landmark venue for soccer in the United States, combining cutting-edge design with fan-focused amenities.
Messi and Inter Miami will face a win-or-go-home Game 3 against Nashville on Saturday.
If Miami advances, it will face the winner of the Cincinnati vs. Columbus Crew matchup.
The game would be at Miami’s home stadium if the Crew advances, or on the road if Cincinnati moves on. The Eastern Conference semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 22-23, following the November FIFA break.
