Traffic alert: Avoid Turnpike SB in Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities on Friday urged drivers to avoid Florida’s Turnpike going southbound as there is a lot of stop-and-go traffic as long as 10 miles between Miami-Dade’s Tamiami and Richmond Heights.

They advised drivers to use the Palmetto Expressway in order to avoid these stoppages.
