PLANTATION, Fla. — A lockdown was lifted at a Broward County high school Thursday afternoon after someone reported that there was a possible weapon on campus, authorities said.
The incident was reported at South Plantation High School, located at 1300 SW 54th Ave.
Plantation police said a student found a spent shell casing on campus, however no weapon was found at the school.
Police confirmed that the lockdown has since been lifted and there is “no safety concern for the school.”
