BSO: Man arrested after texting ex ‘you better show me love or ima kill you’

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — A 28-year-old Fort Lauderdale man was arrested after allegedly threatening of life of his ex.

Deputies arrested Adam Gill on Wednesday.

According to an arrest form, Gill was in a text conversation with his ex-girlfriend, who he shares a child with, and at one point he said “you better show me love or ima kill you, so me or I’m killing all if you.”

Deputies said moments later, Gill texted that he was “there” and began banging on her door while threatening to break the windows.

The victim shares an apartment in Pompano Beach with her baby daughter and her mother.

Deputies said Gill and the victim were in a relationship for nearly three years and were last intimate in August.

He was arrested on a charge of written threat to kill and is being held at the Broward Main Jail on a probation violation.
