Deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
It happened near a Mobil gas station located along the 3100 block of North Dixie Highway in Oakland Park shortly after 1:30 a.m.
According to authorities, responding deputies arrived to the scene to find a man who had been shot.
Paramedics quickly rushed the man to a nearby hospital with injuries considered not life-threatening.
Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office are investigating the circumstances surrounding the gunfire.
No arrests have been announced and deputies have not said whether they are seeking any suspects or persons of interest.
