Newly released surveillance video shows Little Havana triple shooting

Video shows moments gunfire erupted outside Little Havana birthday party

MIAMI — New surveillance video shows the moments a fun birthday party in Little Havana turned into a scary crime scene that left three people shot.

Investigators have since arrested the suspect, 38-year-old Angelo Garcia.

The shooting happened back on Oct. 24 along Southwest 12th Avenue.

Home surveillance video shows Garcia confronting his neighbors in their front yard before firing the shots and taking off.

First responders rushed the three victims, a 75-year-old woman, her 53-year-old son and a 26-year-old man, all to Ryder Trauma Center with serious injuries.

All three victims, who all survived, have not been named.

Authorities later tracked down Garcia to a nearby hotel, where SWAT officers were on hand to bring him into custody.

He has remained behind bars at the Metrowest Detention Center since.

Records show Garcia had an extensive criminal background, with five felony convictions on his record before this shooting incident.

He’s now facing several attempted murder charges.
