POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Authorities in Broward County are investigating a shooting.

It happened just before 8 p.m. in the area of a McDonald’s located along the 600 block of West Sample Road in Pompano Beach.

Deputies said two people were injured after shots were fired, but have not provided any information on the circumstances that led up to the gunfire or how badly they were injured.

Investigators were observed by Local 10’s Brett Knese processing the scene and marking evidence.

Deputies were also seen working to obtain surveillance footage from the McDonald’s.
