MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Many people are on the move this Thanksgiving — and not just on the roads or in the skies. The Life Time Turkey Trot kicked off Thursday at Tropical Park in southwest Miami-Dade, drawing runners of all ages.

The event features multiple races for kids and adults, giving families a way to start the holiday with some exercise and fun. Participants also have an opportunity to give back, with donation drives supporting residents in need.

Organizers say the annual trot continues to grow as more families make it part of their Thanksgiving tradition.
