Body camera video shows police response after 2 good Samaritans pulled woman from car in path of speeding train

Newly released video shows police response after woman pulled from car on train tracks

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. — New video shows the police response after two good Samaritans pulled a woman from a car that was about to be hit by a train.

It happened on Saturday night along Hallandale Beach Boulevard and Dixie Highway.

A woman’s car was stuck on the train tracks, and two people jumped into action and pulled her out of the car just in time.

Her car was left mangled as the train took off a good portion of the front of the vehicle.

In the body camera video, you can see an officer shaking the hand of one of the good Samaritans who did whatever they could to help and save the woman.

“This would have been a terrible situation if that was the other way around,” said Grace Mariot with the Hallandale Beach Police Department.
