MIAMI — Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms descended on a home in Miami’s Design District early Thursday morning.
Children could be heard crying as neighbors recorded on their cell phones the moments an armored truck and federal agents with guns drawn swarmed the home.
In the video, a man can be seen in handcuffs being taken into custody as a woman with three children speaks with an investigator.
The raid happened at a home off Northwest 41st Street near North Miami Avenue.
Agents with the ATF barged through a steel gate and broke through windows to gain access to the home.
According to ATF Tampa, special agents conducted a court-authorized law enforcement operation, which went as planned, and the community is safe.
As agents continued investigating and processing the scene, several luxury vehicles, including an orange Lamborghini, were placed on the back of a tow truck and taken away.
The ATF told Local 10 News that it is too early to release the identity of the man they took into custody and what charges he is facing because the investigation remains active and open.
