CORAL GABLES, Fla. — We could all use a little hope for the holidays, and six South Florida women are hoping to provide that with their amazing stories.

“Be You Chicas” is a new book that is now available through most online retailers.

Published at the beginning of November, it tells the stories of six South Florida women and their six journeys, described as one shared truth “that we can all bloom.”

Each migrated to South Florida, fell, then rose to demonstrate their own strength and remind you it’s possible to begin again.

They held their big debut party at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Coral Gables last Tuesday.

“Be You Chicas” is available in English and Spanish.
