Riccardo Freddo sharing the inspiration behind London-based artist Natalia Ocerin.
“For us and for her, it’s really important to show the viewers what she actually does,” he said.
Her blend of clay sculptures paired with a satirical edge makes her artwork stand out.
Ocerin’s hyperreal oil paintings are based on her hand-sculpted plasticine maquettes.
“I feel Natalia is on her way to becoming one of the most interesting contemporary artists the technique is incredible you can’t find that level of technique
“The sky’s the limit,” said Freddo. “She found her own language through plasticine and realistic paintings and she can do anything, she can paint anything.”
This week, Miami is putting the spotlight on artists from near and far, from bold fashion pieces that make a statement to head-turning creations that have already gone viral.
Thousands of artists including Pat Oleszko are presenting their work on the global stage, representing a moment of distinction in many of their careers.
“It’s the joy of discovery and it’s such a diversity that that’s the beauty of a big and encompassing art,” said Oleszko. “I’m so happy, I am so astonished, I am so grateful and the response has been overwhelming.”
