MONROE COUNTY, Fla. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a man on disturbing charges.

Deputies said they took a Key West gang member into custody who solicited an underage girl for sex.

According to the MCSO, 43-year-old Derek Queen messaged an investigator who was working an online chat operation and posing as a 14-year-old girl, and propositioned them for sex.

Queen acknowledged the investigator’s perceived age several times and sent images of himself masturbating, authorities said.

Investigators said he is part of the outlaw motorcycle gang Pagan and has a criminal history.

Queen is facing multiple charges including soliciting a minor for prostitution and obscene communication with a minor.

He is being held on a $1 million bond.
