PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A Palm Beach County teacher has been arrested on allegations of an improper relationship with a student.

According to authorities, 26-year-old Elias Farley, formerly of Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca Raton, had sexual relations with one of his students.

Now Farley faces charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and offenses against a student by an authority figure.

Authorities said the relationship began over the summer and escalated to multiple encounters, including in the classroom and at his apartment.

Farley appeared in court Friday and is being held in jail without bond.
