MIAMI — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Miami.
It happened just before 6 p.m. in the area of Northwest 36th Street and 21st Avenue.
According to police, officers responded to find a 66-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive.
First responders performed life-saving measures on the man until paramedics arrived and rushed him to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, authorities said.
At last check, officials said the man was in critical condition.
Police did not say whether the driver who struck the man remained at the scene or if they were seeking any suspects or persons of interest.
