New video shows vehicle police say someone opened fire from in North Miami Beach

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Authorities are getting a better look at the suspect vehicle in a drive-by shooting that occurred over the weekend.

The shots rang out around 5 p.m. Saturday in the area of Northeast 179th Terrace and 10th Avenue in North Miami Beach.

In the video, the victim is first seen turning in a dark-colored vehicle.

Then, a silver Kia drives by and police said someone inside fired several rounds, some of which landed in Kevin Harold’s front yard.

“One was here and the other was here,” he said.

Video of the shooting shows several adults and children in the area when the gunfire erupted.

The neighborhood where the incident occurred is a predominantly Orthodox Jewish community.

With the shooting taking place on a Saturday, during the Sabbath, there were several families outside walking and enjoying the outdoors.

It’s a situation that could have been much worse.

Anyone who thinks they recognize the suspect’s vehicle or who has information on the shooting is urged to call North Miami Beach police or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
