COOPER CITY, Fla. — Authorities in Broward County announced the arrest of a man connected to illegal street takeovers.

The crimes in question happened from Nov. 5 to 11 in Cooper City, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said roadways in Cooper City were “used as a pass-through location for a large-scale street takeover event involving hundreds of motorcyclists.”

After investigating for several months, deputies said they identified Seth Bailey, 27, of Fort Lauderdale, as the person believed to be the “primary organizer and sponsor” of the illegal street takeovers.

According to BSO, Bailey was directly involved with coordinating the dates and places of the meet-ups and the routes the motorcyclists would take.

Deputies also said Bailey would participate in “dangerous stunt riding” during the takeovers.

He is facing charges of reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle to film street racing, stunts, competitions or takeovers.

He did not appear among Broward County inmates as of Thursday afternoon.
