DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — A tow truck driver was killed early Saturday morning after becoming trapped beneath a tow truck in Deerfield Beach, authorities confirmed.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded shortly after 3 a.m. to a report of a person pinned under a tow truck near the 400 block of Northeast 48th Street.
BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the death.
No additional details were immediately released, including how the incident occurred or whether any other vehicles were involved.
