HIALEAH, Fla. — One person was airlifted to a hospital Sunday morning following a shooting outside a popular cafeteria in Hialeah, authorities said.

According to Hialeah police, the shooting was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday outside La Lunita Cafeteria, located at 2200 W. Eighth Court.

Police said one adult victim was shot and was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers confirmed that the shooter remains at large.

No other details were immediately released.
