CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — One person was injured Tuesday night in a rollover crash in Coral Springs.

A Local 10 News crew was at the scene off Rock Island Road and Northwest 40^th Street as a black vehicle was turned on its roof.

The crash also caused the vehicle to split in half after it hit a tree.

According to Coral Springs police, the crash was reported at about 9:40 p.m.

Police blocked off the area as they investigated the cause of the collision, but the roadway has since reopened.

Police confirmed that the driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was transported to Broward Health North with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
