MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — An argument led to a shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured outside of a northwest Miami-Dade strip club early Saturday morning, investigators said.
Miami-Dade deputies were called to the scene just after 6 a.m. outside Booby Trap, located near the the 3600 block of Northwest South River Drive.
When deputies arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where one of the men was pronounced dead. They said the second victim remains in critical condition.
Evidence markers, clothing and spent shell casings were visible scattered across the parking lot, offering clues to the violence that unfolded.
Authorities said the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is leading the investigation, with assistance from Miami Springs police.
No arrests have been made and a motive for the shooting remains unclear at this time. The age or identities of the victims have not yet been released.
