Fans having a blast as Hurricanes, Hoosiers prepare for CFP title game

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Miami Hurricanes fans are confident that an incredible playoff run will be capped off with a national championship.

Fans of the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers have other plans in mind, but regardless of who they were rooting for, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves at the CFP fan festival taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

“When was the last time we won? 2001. We’ve been waiting for 25 years. We’re ecstatic,” said one Canes fan.

“I think Miami’s going to win and Indiana’s going to go down,” added another Hurricanes fan.

Considering Miami nearly didn’t make the playoffs in the first place, many of Miami’s fans are enjoying the underdog role.

“They didn’t think we deserved to be in, and what did we prove to them?” said a Miami fan. “We proved to everyone who doubted us.”

Meanwhile, Indiana fans who made the trip from over a thousand miles away are hopeful their dominant season will end in perfection.

“We were the losingest football team in the country and now we have culture shock,” said a Hoosiers fan.

“To win this game on Monday night is going be the best thing ever,” said another Indiana fan.
