MIAMI — A Miami man who has “Fast Money” inked on his left knee, among a host of other tattoos, pulled a gun and opened fire after a victim said he couldn’t give him $1, according to the city’s police department.

Police said the incident happened on Wednesday in the city’s Little River neighborhood.

Police said Fernando de Carvalho, 28, approached three people sitting at the corner of Northeast Miami Court and 82nd Street just before 3:30 p.m. and asked one of the men for a dollar.

According to an arrest report, the victim said he told de Carvalho that he didn’t have any money.

De Carvalho kept talking, but the victim said he couldn’t understand what he was saying since he only speaks Haitian Creole.

Police said when the victim turned and walked away, “he suddenly heard a gunshot.”

According to the report, a witness said de Carvalho, who was being “erratic,” pointed the gun at the victim and said “I will shoot you.”

Police said they located de Carvalho nearby and also found a shell casing.

He’s now facing charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

As of Thursday afternoon, he was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $5,500 bond.
