WEST PARK, Fla. — Broward County deputies were investigating an overnight shooting at a strip club in West Park on Monday.

It happened at The Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club at 5775 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd.

Deputies said they responded just before 1 a.m. and found a man who had been shot. Medics took him to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities haven’t provided additional details on the victim’s condition.

Video shot by a Local 10 News crew showed evidence markers and crime scene tape in the parking lot.

“At this time, the investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing,” Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Carey Codd said in a news release Monday morning.
