MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that occurred over the weekend in northwest Miami-Dade.

Surveillance video from about 4:42 a.m. Sunday shows a red Chevy Camaro driving past a home on West Oakmont Drive moments before the driver put the car in reverse and slammed it into a white Mercedes G-Wagon that was parked in a driveway outside a home.

The driver immediately jumped out of the car and ran away before getting into an awaiting vehicle down the block.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
