Bahama Breeze is closing its doors after 30 years in business.
On Tuesday, parent company Darden Restaurants announced it would shut down the Caribbean-themed chain’s remaining 28 locations in the coming months.
Half will close outright, while the others will be converted to different Darden-owned brands, including locations in Central Florida.
The move follows earlier closures and talks about a possible sale.
Bahama Breeze currently has two locations in South Florida:
- Pembroke Pines: 11000 Pines Blvd.
- Kendall: 12395 SW 88th St.
All Bahama Breeze locations will be closed by April 5.
