WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Four people were seriously injured Thursday morning at a construction site in West Palm Beach, authorities confirmed.
According to police, officers and fire rescue personnel responded to the 300 block of Lakeview Avenue around 7:10 a.m. after receiving reports about a scaffolding collapse.
Police confirmed that four people were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The roadway was briefly closed after the incident, but has since reopened.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
