Broward man arrested after threats against Fort Lauderdale police station, high school

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A man was arrested in Broward County after making some disturbing threats.

Fort Lauderdale police took 30-year-old Bahai Dajani into custody on Sunday.

According to authorities, officers responded to Dajani’s home after someone called 911 stating they had intensions of blowing up the Fort Lauderdale police station and to “shoot up” Fort Lauderdale High School.

Upon arrival, officers located Dajani and detained him. An alleged confession was redacted from his arrest form.

Dajani, who police said was already on parole, is facing several charges related to the phone call, including a felony for misusing 9-1-1, sending or transmitting a written threat to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism.
