VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida man is behind bars after deputies said he flushed drugs down the toilet and then tried to run from deputies.

It happened in a residential neighborhood in Volusia County.

SWAT teams showed up to the home early Thursday morning with a search warrant, and when they first arrived, the suspect, identified as Antoine Tillmon, was in the driveway, but ran back inside and locked the door.

Deputies continued commanding Tillmon to come out, and moments later he bolted out the back door of the home.

A brief chase ensued, but Tillmon was taken into custody soon after.

Authorities said they recovered cocaine and packaging from the plumbing inside the home, while finding additional cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as a large gun and thousands of dollars in cash.

Tillmon was already on felony probation until 2031 for drug trafficking, authorities said.

He is facing a number of charges including violating probation, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and tampering with evidence.

He remained behind bars on no bond as of Tuesday afternoon.
