Authorities said the attack happened at The Office, located at 250 NE 183rd St., in the early morning hours of Oct. 6, 2024 ― the 30th birthday of suspect Jonishia McDaniels, according to an arrest report.

The victim told investigators that she was “intentionally” hit in the head by an unknown woman in an “unprovoked” attack at around 4 a.m., giving her a concussion, with lingering “headache, neck, right shoulder, back, and right knee conditions,” according to an arrest report.

Authorities said the victim didn’t know the suspect’s name, but her friend was able to identify her Instagram account. Police said facial recognition analysis came back to McDaniels, now 31.

They said the victim also picked her out of a photo lineup.

McDaniels was arrested at the Miami Gardens Police Department on Wednesday.

Court records show she’s facing a separate misdemeanor battery charge as well, though details about that charge weren’t immediately available as of Thursday morning.

Jail records show she was being held on a $3,000 bond on both charges.
