Police: North Miami Beach man, 77, hasn’t been seen since leaving home Sunday

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — North Miami Beach police are searching for a 77-year-old man who has been reported missing.

According to police, Augustin Vincent was last seen around 1:45 p.m. Sunday at his home in the 1000 block of Northeast 166th Street.

Police said Vincent suffers from multiple ailments and has shown signs of dementia. He suffered a stroke in the past and has a weak left side and unsteady gait when walking.

He was last seen wearing a brown shirt, black pants, Velcro black shoes and a denim blue Nike hat.

Police said Vincent is of Haitian descent and frequents Haitian restaurants along Northeast Sixth Avenue in both North Miami and North Miami Beach, along with a Taco Bell and Wawa located along Northeast 167th Street and Sixth Avenue.
