MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A warehouse erupted in flames in northwest Miami-Dade on Thursday morning.
Sky 10 flew over the scene just after 11 a.m. as firefighters and first responders from Miami-Dade, Miami Gardens, and Miramar worked to extinguish the massive fourth-alarm fire, sending thick plumes of smoke across the area.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed that no injuries have been reported as a result from the fire.

The 3PL warehouse, which is normally ran for recycling and storage purposes, is located at 20600 NW 47th Ave., just outside of the Miami Gardens city limits and about a half mile south of the county line. It is also just west of Hard Rock Stadium near the Florida Turnpike.
Dr. Frederica S. Wilson Skyway Elementary School in Miami Gardens, just south of the warehouse, is vacant and under construction. Miami-Dade Commissioner Oliver Gilbert told Local 10 News he believes no students or staff were in the building at the time of the blaze.
Somerset Academy in Miramar is also nearby, but the school’s principal told Local 10 News that while they can see the smoke, the children have been moved indoors and there is no threat to the area.
Officials said there is a large amount of “chemicals burning in the area,” and the smoke could be toxic.
Authorities told Local 10 News there were multiple propane tanks inside the warehouse when the fire broke out. Drivers are being urged to avoid the west side of the area.
They said every fire hydrant and water supply around the warehouse is being used to fight the heavy blaze.
Local 10’s Rosh Lowe spoke with a warehouse worker who said he was “lucky to be alive” and that he believes everyone escaped as the facility erupted in flames.
In a post on X Thursday, Miami Gardens police asked to avoid the area between Northwest 47th Avenue and Northwest 206th Street as crews worked to put out the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and no injuries have been reported at this time.
