FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Brightline train early Sunday morning.
It happened along the 700 block of North Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale around 1:30 a.m.
According to police, officers arrived to find a deceased victim.
There has been no word on the circumstances that led up to the collision.
Police said the investigation remains open and active.
The train has since resumed service.
