PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — Pembroke Pines police responded to a serious crash on Sunday morning.

It happened in the area of Pines Boulevard and Northwest 145th Avenue.

Authorities said there were serious injures as a result of the crash, but no further details were immediately released.

The eastbound lanes of Pines Boulevard from I-75 to 145th Avenue were completely closed, and westbound traffic was down to two lanes, but all lanes have since reopened.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
