DANIA BEACH, Fla. — A landscaper was killed after being electrocuted while working on a tree in Dania Beach on Tuesday evening, officials said.

The deadly accident happened just after 5 p.m. in the 4500 block of Southwest 32nd Avenue, just north of Griffin Road.

Video from Sky 10 showed the worker’s body on a ladder next to a tall palm tree, in contact with a power line.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and fire rescue crews were at the scene.

Authorities have not released the man’s age or name. A BSO spokesperson said the agency’s detectives were investigating.
