MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Police responded to a shooting that they said occurred in Miami Gardens on Tuesday morning.
It happened just before noon in the 1700 block of Northwest 167th Street.
Police said they found an adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
They said a black BMW at the scene had also been struck multiple times by gunfire.
Investigators believe that the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting fled in a black vehicle.
They said Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital and the investigation “remains ongoing.”
No other details about the shooting were immediately released.
