MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Authorities responded to a boat fire off Miami Beach on Thursday morning.
It happened around 10:40 a.m. on the ocean side of 57th Street and Collins Avenue.
Sky 10 flew over the scene as rescue crews extinguished the fire on the 40-foot boat.
A Miami Beach Fire Rescue spokesperson said crews were able to safely remove all the individuals from the boat.
Authorities said MBFR and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews remained at the scene “to check for and extinguish any hidden fire or hot spots to prevent reignition.”
No injuries have been reported at this time, and the cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
