MIAMI — For a fourth consecutive day, a bomb threat has been called into Zoo Miami.

The latest came on Monday afternoon.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the latest incident appears to be another swatting call, but deputies were sweeping the park regardless to ensure its safety.

The zoo was forced to close early on Friday, Saturday and Sunday after receiving threats each day.

Extra security has been in place at Zoo Miami due to the threats.
