PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Pembroke Park police are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight at a bar, which left one man injured.

According to Deputy Chief of Police Jason Ochoa, the shooting occurred at Thirsty’s Liquor Bar, located at 4426 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd.

Ochoa said officers responded to the scene and found a man outside the business, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He said the victim was conscious as Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel transported him to Memorial Regional Hospital. He is currently listed in stable condition.

According to Ochoa, it appears an argument occurred inside the bar before shots were fired.

After shooting the victim, the gunman fled the scene in a silver SUV, heading east on West Hallandale Beach Boulevard, authorities said.

Ochoa described the gunman as a white or light-skinned male wearing a light-colored shirt, pants and a hat.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tips may be eligible for a reward.
