Authorities said the allegations against Grether Leidy Guadarramas Pena, 41, came to light after the boy told his teacher what had happened a few days prior.

According to an arrest report from the Florida City Police Department, the boy ― whose age wasn’t specified ― told detectives that his brother first saw the Discord messages and content, and then “took the computer away and gave it” to another family member, who “made him stand facing the wall” until Guadarramas got home on Saturday afternoon.

“Once (Guadarramas) arrived, she observed ‘gay’ things on his Discord account,” an FCPD officer wrote. “She then grabbed him by the arm and took him into the kitchen.”

According to the report, the boy told police that Guadarramas “grabbed a knife and held his arm against the counter” and called for the other family member hold his hand down.

Police said the other family member “assisted” but once he realized that Guadarramas was cutting the child, pushed her away. He’s not facing charges.

Authorities said Guadarramas then cut the boy’s hair with scissors.

They said the other family member and Guadarramas “refused to speak” about the incident after being questioned on Wednesday.

Police arrested Guadarramas on a felony child abuse charge and a Miami-Dade judge found probable cause for the count in court on Thursday morning, resetting her bond hearing for the afternoon.

As of Thursday afternoon, Guadarramas remained jailed in the county’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
