SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Newly released body camera video shows the moment two teenage girls were arrested at their school, accused of plotting to kill another student.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Lake Brantley High School after receiving an anonymous tip that someone named “Jimmy” was planning to kill a student on campus.

Investigators say 15-year-old Isabelle Valdez and 14-year-old Lois Lippert had been planning to kill a classmate at the school. Video shows deputies placing the girls in handcuffs in the hallway.
Court documents say the alleged plot had been in the works for months before it was stopped by law enforcement in January.
Detectives say the teens brought a knife, Clorox wipes and a towel to school and planned to lure a boy into a bathroom and stab him.
Prosecutors say investigators also found a handwritten note Valdez allegedly wrote to her parents. In the note, she wrote: “I’m sorry for what I’m gonna do. I chose to do this by myself, for myself, and for Adam Lanza.”
Authorities say Valdez had become fascinated with Adam Lanza, the gunman responsible for the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in 2012. Investigators say she believed killing a victim who reminded her of Lanza could somehow bring him back.
The video shows the two teens walking through the halls of their school in handcuffs before being placed in the back of a patrol car.
During a hearing last week, a judge ruled the girls would remain in custody, saying they posed too much of a danger to the community to be released on bond.
Both Valdez and Lippert have pleaded not guilty. Hearings in both cases are scheduled for April.
