NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Broward Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Friday who they say is accused of sexually abusing a minor over a two-year period.
Deputies identified the suspect in an arrest report as 34-year-old Adlin Saint Amour, of Oakland Park. Investigators said the alleged incidents occurred between 2020 and 2022 in North Lauderdale.
Investigators allege that for about two years, Saint Amour picked up the victim from her home every Saturday around 12:45 a.m., drove her to his home, and had sexual intercourse with her before returning her home ahead of her father waking up for work.
The report states the last alleged encounter occurred on Nov. 26, 2022, when Saint Amour fell asleep after having sex with the victim and did not return her home until about 6 a.m.
Deputies said the victim’s father was waiting outside when they arrived that morning. They said Saint-Amour noticed the father, then drove to a nearby gas station, where he had the victim buy chips before walking home.
The victim later told her father about the alleged relationship with Saint Amour, according to deputies. The report states that during an interview in December 2022, she said she met Saint Amour around 2020 at a neighbor’s house.
Investigators said Saint Amour told the victim to delete content from her cellphone and tablet that could implicate him in the relationship. Deputies also said the victim was 13 years old when the relationship began and Saint Amour was 30.
Deputies said they obtained photos showing that the victim sent nude images of herself to Saint Amour’s cellphone, and the victim also reported that they engaged in video chats while both were naked.
Jail records show Saint Amour is facing six counts of promoting sexual activity of a victim 16 years old or younger.
As of Saturday Afternoon, he was being held on a $90,000 bond at the Broward County Main Jail.
