MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Newly-obtained video shows bystanders fleeing bullets in a shooting that wounded a man in southwest Miami-Dade.
Surveillance video shows a group ducking for cover inside of a food store Sunday as gunfire broke out in the county’s unincorporated West Perrine area.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened just before 6:30 p.m. near Homestead Avenue and Hibiscus Street.
When deputies arrived, they said they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics took him to Jackson South Medical Center, where he was said to be stable.
Authorities haven’t yet said whether they’ve identified a suspect or determined whether the victim was the intended target.
