In late January, investigators say a tourist met a woman, now identified as Deonasia Walker, 21, of Austin, Texas, inside the hotel and later brought her back to his room.

An arrest report states that Walker ― whose occupation is listed as “dancer” and who has a neck tattoo that says “Dream Girl” ― told the victim that he would “need to pay her $1,000″ for her company and sexual services.

Police say the victim sent the money through Zelle, then fell asleep.

When he woke up, police say his Rolex watch that was on the dresser was gone.

Surveillance cameras later captured the woman leaving the room just after midnight.

Detectives say the watch, which is valued at about $35,000, was sold later that day for $13,000 at a jewelry store in downtown Miami.

Investigators traced the sale through pawn records, a thumbprint match, and the suspect’s ID.

Walker was arrested Tuesday at Miami International Airport.

Police say the investigation connected her directly to the stolen watch, and she’s now facing charges.

At last check, Walker was behind bars at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center after being granted a $15,000 bond.
