MIAMI LAKES, Fla. — Miami-Dade firefighters stood on the roof of a house during a fire on Thursday afternoon in Miami Lakes.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, firefighters were dispatched shortly before 1:45 p.m. to the area of Northwest 148 Terrace and 89 Avenue.
Shortly after 2:15 p.m., firefighters were standing near a hole in the roof of a one-story house at 8940 NW 148 Terrace.
By 2:30 p.m., the fire was under control, and firefighters were monitoring hotspots and ventilating the structure, according to M-DFR.
No one was injured, and M-DFR personnel were investigating the cause of the fire.
