PLANTATION, Fla. — Deputies in Broward County provided a tragic update on Tuesday to a missing person search.

Authorities said missing 20-year-old woman Anjali Gosine had been found dead.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Gosine had last been seen on March 26 near the campus of Broward College in Davie.

Her body was later discovered in Plantation over the weekend, deputies said.

The cause of death remains unclear, according to authorities.

Detectives said they are investigating whether foul play was involved.
